Vandergrift Improvement Program's Farmers' Market

The Vandergrift Improvement Program’s Farmers’ Market opens on Thursday, June 17th in the Columbia Avenue parking lot. Stop by between the hours of 3:00 pm and 6:30 pm. Here’s what you’ll find: fresh, local produce (picked the morning of the Market) fresh berries, bakers, crafters, locally grown perennials, jewelry, and Fair Trade products, including jewelry and African shea and cocoa butter.
One of the new and exciting things this year is that the food vendors are able to accept SNAP benefit cards, along with Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) and WIC program vouchers.
Look for monthly and weekly raffles, theme days, give aways and entertainment! There will be something new each week!
This year we’re adding a weekly Story Hour with Amy Guggenheimer as the story teller. You may know Amy from her appearances at the Apollo Library – she is a unique and fun-loving story teller who makes the stories come alive!
