Vandergrift First Thursdays

Each First Thursday of the month, weather permitting, visit downtown Victorian Vandergrift to remember old times, create new memories for a new generation and celebrate Vandergrift's community spirit.
The Vandergrift Improvement Program (VIP) invites you to join them in remembering when the streets in Vandergrift were alive with people on Thursday nights. And, if you don’t remember those days, we invite you to make your own memories in Vandergrift. Visit us around 4:00 pm on May 6th – the 1st First Thursday – as the town’s retailers and restaurants will be open till 7:00 pm – some of the vendors from the Farmers’ Market will be giving you a sneak peek of their offerings for this year – music will fill Grant Avenue – kids can ride their bikes around downtown and adults can drive their classic cars down the streets. Who knows what else will be happening … you get to design your evening! Some chairs and tables will be located along Grant Avenue – enjoy a cold beverage and catch up with all your friends.
