PDC's Two-Day Workshop on Community-Owned Businesses & Venture Capital Funds

Join Pennsylvania Downtown Center as we celebrate our 25th anniversary! This event will feature a two-day workshop led by Josh Bloom of the Community Land Use & Economics (CLUE) Group for an in-depth look at community-owned businesses and venture capital funds. Bloom authored "Community-Owned Businesses - How Communities Become Entrepreneurs," and is a former staff member at the National Trust's Main Street Center.
This workshop will delve into such sub topics as the importance of market analysis for revitalization efforts, and will include a presentation by Barry Denk, executive director of the Center for Rural Pennsylvania, on inter-generational wealth transfer as the foundation for creating local venture capitla funds.
On the night of June 25, and the Harrisburg Hilton, we will roll out the red carpet in celebration of 25 years of "helping you make your town a better place." The evening will feature a plated dinner, special guests from PDC's past, present and future, and much more!
Whether your interest is in creating local jobs, meeting local market needs, or strengthening your organization's sustainability, this is a two-day revitalization event that you will not want to miss!
